Last night's ESS fleet

Last night, I went out with a group of friends to do some ESS banking and got some really nice juicy kills. We had a lot of fun and would like to have more people come along!

If interested hit me up on discord, join my discord or hit me up on Twitter and we will get with you and go out on fleets and have some fun!

The biggest kill in a fleet

A bhaalgorn kill worth over 5 Billion ISK is my biggest kill while in a fleet.

Thanks to MissMarisha and her friends for having me along on their fleet, so we could get this juicy kill!

What a good fleet

What started out to be a bit slow certainly didn't last very long. We were engaged pretty fast by another fleet which blapped us, but still had fun doing so.

We did get some nice kills last night and got another anonymous donation for the Wounded Warrior Project as well.

Thanks to everyone who came out on fleet and thanks to everyone who tuned in to see the content and activities.

Another fun time tonight in a Benny Hill fleet

Eve Online

Had another fun fleet tonight. Got in on a carrier kill, which is funny because we were all in Condors. I am sure that guy was PISSED.

Also got in some other great kills too. It is always a fun time running in a fleet with Miss Marisha and her gang. Please check out her Twitch channel and give her a follow also!

Another good fleet

Here we were, all set and ready to go and actually on time. We were just a couple of minutes late, but for the most part we ere ready to go. I had handed off the responsibility of passing out ships and equipment to my friend Atmok, so I was able to focus on getting everything else ready.

This night, it took awhile before things were getting good but once we started getting closer and closer to Tama the picking got better. I also have to thank my friend Hale Adam for also coming to fight and provide content as well!

A total of 353M Isk in ship kills destroyed last night.

FOB down

I got lucky enough to get involved with a fleet with Eve University and was able to participate in the destruction of a Guristas Forward Operating Base.

These particular kind of spawns require a fleet to take them down. The ships spawn deal much more damage than regular ships, so I never recommend trying to take them down solo.

I was able to get a couple of cool screenshots of the base for people to see.

Low Sec Fleet Roams With Eve University

I have been running some small fleets with newbros of Eve University out of their own system. We always fly T1 frigates in hopes to get some kills and pad their killboards.

The idea of these fleets is to help the new players that are just learning how to play, to get to learn a bit more about pvp and fleets. My main goal is to install muscle memory when flying, so if they get attacked, they will at least have a bit of skill to defend themselves and or to get away hopefully without losing their ship.

The other idea behind the fleets is to provide a learning experience with other players at the same time. This also helps to learn because they are also surrounded by their corp mates and everyone is trying to do the same thing, which lowers the stress level compared to just doing solo PVP.

Here are some video highlights from recent fleets, which we were able to get some good big kills.

Some nice few days

I have had a nice couple of days in the pvp realm. The funniest was last night when I was in Frairie and seen a Condor on D-Scan. The pilot was part of the Caldari State, which I like to take out when I see them, because they are mostly farming for tags. I warped to the plex and of course the Condor warped out. Then another Tristan was in system and came on to me, which I was in my Incursus.

I took the battle from the Tristan and lost my Incursus because I made a couple of mistakes. I then see in local, the Caldari Condor pilot say "The Tristan won". I said "at least she didnt warp off like you did".

I then went back to Eugales and got one of my Hookbills and returned to Frairie. I seen the Tristan on D-Scan and warped directly to her. She took the fight and lost. We said our normal "gfs", then I seen the condor on D-Scan and warped directly to where it was. I slid the gate and popped the Condor with 2 hits. I said in Local.."Tristan lost and so did you!". The Tristan pilot laughed and I left system.

Saturday Night Fleet Night

This coming Saturday night March 21st, I will be FCing a fleet like I usually do. I will be FCing a destroyer fleet and hopefully will have a few frigate scouts to join also.

The corporation will be handing out T1 destroyers to everyone who wants to attend. These ships are pretty cheap and are made to not come back, so no need to worry about ship losses.

We have Thrashers, Talwars and Cormorants to pass out to everyone who wants to fly along. We will also have Condors on hand to pass out for any possible scouts that want to attend.

Fleet information:

Form Up: Archavoinet, Placid at Maracite Foundry 02:00 Eve Time

Fleet Departure: 02:30 Eve Time

Fleet Destination: Kadama, Black Rise

Fleet Timing: Around 1.5 - 2 hours or until everyone gets tired or gets blown up.

The goal of the fleet is to have everyone who attends gain their 10,000 skill pints for a pvp kill, while the event is still running.

If you are planning to attend, send me a mail/pm in game, or ping/dm me on discord or email me at sakeineve@gmail.com

Painful Loss Today

Yeah I had a bit of an ego, I'll admit that. I had seen a Catalyst farmer in a small plex in the Vey system in Placid (low sec). I warped to the plex and got in and of course the farmer warped off right away before I could get a scram on him. I followed the Catalyst to a nearby station, where he docked.

Right when the Catalyst docked, I seen someone else come into the system and it was a Tristan. I thought, this should be an easy kill and scanned him down to the same plex I was just at. I warped right to the gate and he was sitting about 12 km off gate. I approached and that is the beginning of the end of my cool Corax I was using.

I approached to get into range and he scrammed me. I am afterburner fit, so that didnt matter much, but what did matter is that I wasn't able to scram him. He launched his drones and was kiting me the whole time. The mistake I made was that I thought I could get close enough to him to scram him, and I was ignoring his drones at first.

After seeing the drones doing good damage to me, it was at that point I started targeting the drones, but I was already at half shields. I had burned out my afterburner trying to catch him and didn't notice I wasn't moving (which we all know is the worst when in a fight). Before I knew it I was having a hard time locking his drones, because my overview didnt have the drones on it, to make it easier to target.

We all know how hard it is when fighting drones when they aren't on your overview for easier targeting. So I was starting to panic and I kept missing targeting the drones and then it was just a matter of time. I was about to kill a few drones, but they had eaten away far enough that I knew I was going to lose the ship.

What really burns my ass, is that when I blew up, I had selected a station to warp off to, but for some reason (I probably clicked the wrong dam thing) I didn't warp and sat for a couple of seconds. That's when I seen him target my pod and podded me.

I need to get back with Lauralite Brezia and do more training and doing different maneuvers and get better. The Corax isn't a big loss, but the loss of ego can hurt much worse.

Not a good night, but learned in the process

Last night I fought an acquaintance pilot I see time to time in low sec around Placid. He usually is flying a Kestrel and I know this. I had a couple of blaster Merlins that I had built to get blown up, which most pvp pilots know exactly what I mean.

I knew this guy was tough, he had even shared his normal fitting with me, but I figured I would give it a try anyways, which didn't end well for me in the end. I entered the plexes hoping to land right on him and scram him right away, but he was off 10 km from the inside of the plex anticipating me. His Kestrel was way faster than my Merlin and he was able to pull range from my blasters, which has a fall off range at about 4000 km.

Needless to say I didn't last long and it was just a matter of time before he took my ships. The great thing about this pilot is that he will leave my wrecks so I can pick up the remaining modules for future fights. We had a nice conversation in local and I told him next time, I will be bringing my own Kestral. He said he will be looking for me and welcomes our fights.

Killing my favorite bot in low sec

When ever I come across this bot chick, I always love to get a free kill. I don't know why this bot keep coming and staying in large complexes, but each time I see her I will kill her. You should too! She and I are located in the Placid region, and she is always hanging in the low sec systems around there.

Fleets Have Been Running Smooth , So Far.

Sorry for the lack of posting lately, things have been busy.

After being prompted many times by Laura & Sterling, I had finally stepped up and started running fleets. I was scared to be honest, only being in a few fleets myself.

I decided to use some cheap Thrashers for my first fleet. The fleet was fun, but everyone could tell my inexperience in running a fleet.I am very privileged to have a great corp and groups of friends that both helped dealing with my inexperience and helped me along with their support.

I have ran 3 fleets so far and believe that I have become a better FC with each fleet that I have ran. I have been taking comments and info from everyone who has attended to gain their thoughts and also learn and get more experience. With taking the comments, I can also look at what members are looking for when flying and how they liked or didnt like aspects of each fleet. This information is crucial for me learning more.

Laura & Sterling have both gave great feedback as far as learning the mechanics of running a fleet, while everyone else has had great feedback with their own experiences.

I was also given the role of Director from the Corp as well. With this new role I am looking forward to learning much more of the back end of how the corp runs and will be able to help other corp members as I learn.

For everyone within the corp and friends that have come along on my fleets, I really appreciate you helping me learn more and dealing with my inexperience with the fleets I have run and also with the corp inner workings, which as I said, I stive to be better to help make this corp the best in New Eden.
