I went to the new memorial that Eve Online placed for all of the real life players that are no longer with us. I don't know of another game that would do that or have the intentions of commemorating their fallen players.

I have had a nice couple of days in the pvp realm. The funniest was last night when I was in Frairie and seen a Condor on D-Scan. The pilot was part of the Caldari State, which I like to take out when I see them, because they are mostly farming for tags. I warped to the plex and of course the Condor warped out. Then another Tristan was in system and came on to me, which I was in my Incursus.
I took the battle from the Tristan and lost my Incursus because I made a couple of mistakes. I then see in local, the Caldari Condor pilot say "The Tristan won". I said "at least she didnt warp off like you did".
I then went back to Eugales and got one of my Hookbills and returned to Frairie. I seen the Tristan on D-Scan and warped directly to her. She took the fight and lost. We said our normal "gfs", then I seen the condor on D-Scan and warped directly to where it was. I slid the gate and popped the Condor with 2 hits. I said in Local.."Tristan lost and so did you!". The Tristan pilot laughed and I left system.
After that horrible mess that happened when I was killed while I thought I was teaching a newbro, some things have happened.
One, the pilot who was there to only observe has since left the corp he was in with the killing pilot. He complained in his corp about what happened and he was scuffed at, so he left saying "That isn't how I role".
Two, the other pilot that was involved joined our corporation after we had a long talk and got to know each other well, so I invited her and she accepted and is now with us.
So, this goes to show that not everyone in Eve Online is a horrible person and good things can come out of bad circumstances.
The other day I got pretty lucky with a couple of the fights I was in. I was able to grab some of these great screenshots of the damage done to my Caracal, Incursus and Thrasher. I feel great winning the fights and be able to show off by also showing how close the battles were.
